Counseling, Life Coaching and Facilitated Activities with NatureThere's more truth to the above quote by Voltaire than many people, especially Western schooled medical professionals, would like to admit. So, come and let us help amuse you back to health. While business owners and managers may not think their organization needs a counselor or life coach, an organization is a living system. As such, it is also subject to pathology, requires healing, as well as support in the growth process. A business is comprised of people--employees and customers--it is not just a product or service that exists in isolation from the relationships that sustain it. By understanding and learning how to best benefit from the principles of natural systems, these principles can be applied to create or reorganize a business so it's vibrant and adaptable to change. Our Natural Systems Consulting services can help your business or organization become sustainable and a productive contributor to a local living economy. Our personal wellness and growth services focus on overcoming separation from others and the natural world by building healthy, responsible relationships. These relationships start by healing and integrating the relationships among body, mind, and spirit. Healing, Transformation, and GrowthAs counselors in ecopsychology we help facilitate a powerful, natural psychological process that enables clients to affect a deep, direct change in their lives that is healthier, less stressful, more sustainable, and more spiritual. This process, highly effective in meeting the unique counseling and/or life coaching needs of individuals, families and groups, helps overcome feelings of isolation and disempowerment, provides guidance for improving all relationships--ways to learn, work, and create with others by following natural consensus--and promotes respect for Nature and natural diversity. Life coaching - that supports the entire web of life.As we journey through Life, we navigate many significant passages--birth, early-childhood, adolescence, and on through interpersonal commitments, changing careers, aging (mid-life crises, menopause, etc.), and death. How 'naturally' we navigate each of these critical times of transition has a significant impact on the quality of our lives. We provide guidance and support to successfully transition each of these stages and ensure healthy balanced growth toward the next stage. Nature Quest - Wild Nature and Your Inner NatureTHERE’S MUCH MORE TO NATURE THAN MEETS THE EYEThrough two-hour guided sessions in Nature, we help people learn a process that enables them to discover relaxation, fulfillment, and how to improve relationships by remembering and using all 53 of their natural senses. People of any age can then use this process to restore these feelings of relaxation and balance on their own as they reconnect with nature in their favorite natural area, their own backyard, or even with their favorite houseplant. We also offer free, ½ hour facilitated nature meditations and sensory activities during the noon hour on a regular basis from fall through spring as a community mental health service. If you would like to schedule an introductory consultation session or arrange a presentation or workshop for your group, please contact nature@attractionretreat.org or give Dave or Allison, co-founders of Attraction Retreat, a call at (360) 756-7998. |

"We have repressed far more than our sexuality: our very organic nature is now unconscious to most of us, most of the time, and we have become shrunken into two dimensional social or cultural beings, aware of only five of the hundreds of senses that link us to the rich biological nature that underlies and nourishes these more symbolic and recent aspects of ourselves." |
